I feel Allen is preparing us for the journey though the golden gate by portraying his biological son Ronan as the despicable character Danny in the film. In the future I feel it will be common (Archduke Ferdinand-like) knowledge that the conflagration in Damascus (the city of Jasmine) between Syria, Israel, the United Nations, Iran, China, Russia and the West will lead to tragic decisions made in haste with unforeseen consequences.
